Russia Alabuga International Camp Project

Russia Alabuga International Camp Project
Located in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, Russia, this 110,000-square-metre international camp project is one of CGCH's landmark modular construction achievements. Designed to accommodate thousands of workers, the project provides a complete living environment including accommodation, bathrooms, kitchens, and public facilities through a large-scale modular camp solution.

For this project, CGCH supplied Flat Pack Container Houses, specifically selected for their outstanding performance in harsh cold climates. The houses feature 75mm rock wool insulated sandwich panels, high-strength steel structures, thermal-break design, and sealed waterproof connections, helping maintain comfortable indoor temperatures while reducing heating energy consumption during Russia's long and extremely cold winters. The structures are also engineered to withstand heavy snow loads, strong winds, and continuous low-temperature conditions, ensuring long-term durability and safety.

With standardized modular manufacturing and intelligent production lines, CGCH completed the production of 84 buildings in only 42 days, ensuring consistent quality and rapid delivery. Factory prefabrication significantly reduced on-site construction time, while the Flat Pack design optimized container loading efficiency and lowered international transportation costs.

Today, the Alabuga International Camp stands as a benchmark project demonstrating CGCH's capability to deliver large-scale modular camps for industrial parks, energy projects, mining camps, and workforce accommodation in some of the world's most challenging environments.

Why Flat Pack Container Houses Are Ideal for Russia's Cold Climate

  • Excellent thermal insulation with 75mm rock wool sandwich panels to reduce heat loss.
  • Designed to withstand heavy snow loads and strong winds, ensuring year-round structural safety.
  • Airtight and waterproof construction helps prevent cold air infiltration and moisture penetration.
  • High-strength galvanized steel frame provides stable performance in prolonged sub-zero temperatures.
  • Factory-prefabricated modules ensure consistent quality and reduce weather-related installation delays.
  • Modular design enables rapid installation even during short construction seasons.
  • Durable, low-maintenance structure with a long service life, suitable for permanent or semi-permanent camps.
